St. Paul Catholic Church

This is St. Paul Catholic Church in Grosse Pointe Farms just north of Detroit. It's on Lakeshore, which becomes Jefferson in Detroit, right on Lake St. Clair. Note that it was designed by Detroit architect Harry J. Rill.

Super photos, Mary. A truly magnificent building. I think this style of architecture was utilized by many different church bodies at one time, though this seems more ornate than most.

Wonderful church, I like the imposing towers and the stones in the lower part of the building. Our churches are often cramped in small spaces and I am so envious of those beautiful lawn around most of yours.
