Transitions 2: Fall-->Winter
Remember that picture from Nashua Creek Wednesday? Some of you commented that we still had a lot of foliage--not any more! We still have some, but it is getting very sparse. We have a hard freeze for several days. The bird bath is frozen solid, the sidewalk had ice that lasted all day for several days, and the leaves all falling like mad. The man is a neighbor (in the way background you can see my car and trash cans--how exciting!) The snow is left-over from what was pushed aside when we had our first real snow. These pix all taken Saturday (yesterday) morning except the first one at the sacred Spiral Grove. Click images to view larger. (My lost camera has not turned up yet! :-( )

What beautiful photographs! I love the color.
ReplyDeleteThe Spiral Grove shot is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThe sun is out here and has melted most (all?) of the snow. Finally a little solar warmth!
the first picture is wonderful ! great looking path and the perspective ... i think is so nice to take a walk in that place .
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Dan, Erin, and Pumpkin for your very kind comments. I love the Spiral Grove and I love walking there. There are some nice trails. I posted that first because it was my favorite.
ReplyDeleteAH solar warmth. Mmmm!
C'est troooooooop beau! I hope you will find your camera soon.
ReplyDeleteTu as déjà changé de mari? :-))
LOL! That is a neighbor, not my husband!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS, Marie. You're so funny!
Chilly - both about climate and camera! I like the 'caked leaf' second bottom! We're eating icy-poles here to cool off :)
ReplyDeleteStay cool, I'm cold and need to stay warm. Thanks. YAY! I found my camera!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photos. I really like the top one with the trail and pines.
