Moon over my cookie
The Grosse Pointe Yatch Club by Moonlight on Christmas Night. Lake St. Clair is frozen. Photo by Mary Stebbins Taitt, with my new tripod. No effects applied. That's the real moon. The small streak in the sky is an airplane. The distance traveled is the time of the exposure.
I can see the aeroplane! We also had a very large full moon on Christmas Eve ... it was amazing. I couldn't find a nice enough decorated house to have it in the background though. Yours is wonderful!
There is a song, Moon over Miami, but when Cookie Monster from Sesame Street (Children's TV show) sings it, he sings, "Moon over my COokie" which I loved when my kids were small.

The alignment was very cool, but it should not have affected the brightness much.
