Did you wave as you passed through Marquette on your way to Ishpeming? I didn't see you! Heh heh. Hope you have a relaxing time camping in the Porkies. One of my favorite U.P. areas. :^)
Yes, it's a chipmunk, which is a variety of ground squirrel. The chipmunks were VERY tame up in the porkies and would eat peanuts right out of our hands.
We just got home and I have a lot of catching up to do. Please bear with me! We had almost no internet connection on the trip and one time we did, it cut out before I finished.
Kathe, we were the one ones waving from the old blue freighter (Grand Marquis)--my husband had hugely long legs or we'd prefer a smaller car. Good for lots of camping gear though.
