At the Hotel
We're in Syracuse NY to visit friends and family, but the weather is bad. Biker Buddy made a seafood stirfry for dinner last night. Now he is reading, Piano boy is still asleep, and the car is half buried in snow outside out hotel window.
Portland Oregon Daily Photo sends you heartfelt wishes for the new year. May your 2009 be filled with good health, riches of the mind and heart, loved ones returning home, an increased respect for our fragile planet, and the cessation of wars across the Earth.
Well, we've had more than 16 inches of snow here that's now gone, but no seafood stirfry. I have to say that I'm thankful for both! I'm not so sure I could eat that critter.
