Detroit Metrobeach
Detroit Metrobeach at Dusk, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. A peaceful moment in an evening stroll. The Lake is Lake St. Clair. Some locals are petitioning to change its status to a great lake! (It is pretty big, and part of the great lakes system.)
I like the photo, - the style and colors of the design, and the peaceful moment it must be to just sit there at this beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it will make it. Too many geography books would have to be replaced.
ReplyDeleteThanks Gunn and B.
ReplyDeleteI'm not invested in the change myself.
Beautifully calm colors - I can imagine enjoying a cup of coffee here.
ReplyDeleteI like our photo wich catch my eyes for the DP portal. Really nice graphic construction
ReplyDeleteThis picture has really beautiful colors. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. Y'all could be sitting right there if you come to Detroit. :-D
ReplyDeleteThe light is amazing! I need to check a map to see if Lake St, Clair is bigger than Lake Simcoe, which also part of the same system. ;-)
ReplyDeleteExcellent composition, Mary...I'll wait for the big one to comment further! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'd better check the map for Lake Simcoe.
ReplyDeleteJacob, " the Big One" will be tomorrow's post, and different. I guess I could have tried it on today's.
Okay, Mary...I really hope it all works out - should...
ReplyDeleteI'll be out most of the day tomorrow...by write if you need help and I'll get back to you as soon as I can...
Thanks again for all your help, Jacob! When I ahve time, if this works, I'm going to try to apply it to my other blogs as well.
