Pewabic Pottery is a well-known Detroit institution. They make
pottery and tiles and their tiles are included in many famous Detroit
Buildings and locations. (We have it at our house, too.) If you
click on the Pewabic Pottery labels link below, you can see some of
their other stuff. This fountain with its Pewabic Pottery is located
at Cranbrook behind the Japanese Garden.
That's just gorgeous, Mary. Not only the "pottery" but the rocks, too. Excellent photograph as well.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!
Thanks, Jacob. They are nice rocks. I only had the point and shoot with me. Didn't know I was going there when I left home.
ReplyDeletePoint and shoots can do a terrific job...as Ken Rockwell always says, it ain't the camera, it's the person holding the camera...
ReplyDeleteAnd you hold it very, very well!
Thanks so much for your VERY KIND WORDS! :-D
ReplyDeleteI agree with Jacob as regards your talent (I think you are multitalented!). I like the "céramiques".
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kindness, sweet Marie!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I am overly emotional or just being a woman but that was so pretty it made me cry
