Another Pirate, Renaissance Festival

There were many pirates in the Renaissance, or so it would seem at the Festival. Each one unique.

I am at a Writing Retreat in Harbor Springs--B, are you still here? I am very busy and my internet access is limited, so I do not know if I can comment or not. I promise to do my best to return comments when I get home if I am unable to do it here, which I probably will be (unable). I'll be back Monday or Tuesday. Have a great week.

I am online, but I have very low connectivity. It rained all day yesterday and I only took a few shots. Here's one in the rain on the way up near Gaylord MI, at a highway rest area. If I can't comment, I'll catch up when I get back.

  1. This pirate is very serious, and can be dangerous

  3. Another great portrait, but what is a pirate doing at a Renaissance re-enactment? I suppose there must have been pirates then, too. There are always pirates. Today we call them business tycoons.

Love the rainy shot...just a gorgeous fall photo!

  5. Thanks so much Jacob and Tammie Lee.

    It's beautiful up here--but COLD!

I'm getting a lot of writing done, but I did have to deal with some issues at home via email and cell phone. SIgh.

There were LOTS of pirates at the Renaissance festival--dunno if that reflects them or us.

  7. I have no cell phone signal in my room so I was talking to BB sitting out on the terrace in a coat and hat AND FREEZING!!!!!! Brr,chilled.

On the other hand, 94 is a bit warm.

76? I could live with that.

  8. Just posted about a Pirates cove... Another fine portrait, but he hasn't the look of a pirate!
Terrific (in good and bad sense) view under the rain. Hope for that the weather will improve.
