The Rolandale Silk Creek Retreat House

    Hard not to be inspired gazing at that. By the way, I loved the galleys you gave me. I'm interested in reading the book when it comes out. Keep me posted. Having a hard time adjusting to SoFla. A bit of culture shock coming from H.S.

    What a gorgeous tree! Funnily enough, my own studio is off Moross in Detroit. I can see the roofs of the St. John Hospital complex from my front window. I'm just behind the sledding hill.

    I think I can see St. John hospital from my study windows (but when I;'m in there, I don't actually look out the window much, LOL.

    I walk by the sledding hill almost every day and often twice a day walking to and from my studio etc.

    I looked at places in that area (behind the sledding hill).

    The Rolandale house is not in terrific shape, though we've been working on it all spring and summer--much remains to be done. I hope to build a better studio out back.
