I like these zoo shots, Mary, especially the rhinos side-by-side. I guess Detroit must have a good-size zoo.
The last time I was at the Toronto Zoo (last fall) I was disappointed...but I must admit it was a rainy day and we spent a good portion of the day trying to find my sister-in-law who walked off in a different direction. LOL
Well, of course, in some ways, it is certainly not as nice as complete freedom. On the other hand, they are not being brought down by lions or shot by hunters. Hard to say. Certainly better than the old zoos!

I always feel sorry for the animals. But, I love zoos.
ReplyDeleteI think that life in modern zoos is not too bad for the animals.

ReplyDeleteVery cute, Mary. But why do they remind me of some of my high school teachers?
ReplyDeleteLOL! I mostly don't remember my high school teachers--except a few! Thanks, Jacob!
