Please Touch at the DIA
"Please do not touch the artwork"--except this piece. You can see what thousands of soft fingertips have done to the sculpture. DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts.)
Oh can you imagine the bacteria on that thing!
ReplyDeleteI'm with goda...yikes!
ReplyDeleteProbably not as bad as one might imagine (though not great) because the metal itself is antibacterial.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you, Goda?
ReplyDeletePoor thing must have been much larger before people began touching him.
ReplyDeleteThe sculpture is nice and I'll take gladly the 'risk'!
ReplyDeleteSculpture should be touched! Wash your hands after touching it. Bacteria is in the air and I'm not planning to stop breathing for a while yet. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is very nice--I'm not too hung about germs. I believe Goda is studying to be a nurse. So she's prolly hypersensitive to those kind of thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYUP!
