Two new shots from the Ford Museum



I spent several hours at the Ford Museum and took dozens (hundreds?) of pictures, and I will be sharing some of these with you in the next few days (weeks?). To see more shots from the Ford Museum, click the Ford Museum link below.

The second picture was taken in the airplane exhibit. But I neglected to write down the name of the particular sub-exhibit.

    I don't understand how come we aren't running into each other more often - we were just at the Henry Ford on Sunday and we are so often on Belle Isle (less so now that it is so bitterly cold!)

    The Henry Ford just keeps getting better, doesn't it? I do miss the days when we could take our dog to Greenfield Village, though.

    I think I would like this museum very much...

    I wonder if you know what that first painting is all about...looks like English steel mills?

    There will be more shots of ice on the lake. And more shots of the FOrd museum.

    I regret that on this visit, I neglected to photograph the explanatory information--for my own sake--I get home and discover I have forgotten what I read--I read too much and cannot retain it all--I apologize.

    I look forward to seeing more of this museum!

    II'm feeling shy about taking my camera into museums after a curator made me delete all my photos a few months ago. I guess it's not a problem at the Ford Museum?

    No, they encourage it and have photo contests etc. You can call ahead and ask at a museum if they allow photography or not. That might save embarrassment.

    (I have a very small pocket camera that I always carry, If I'm concerned abotu the big one).
