Ice in the Detroit River. La la la la life goes on--things are hectic here and I can't keep up, sorry to say.
We're having maple syrup weather--below freezing at night, above freeing in the day. The sap is running, the ice breaking up, and the first flower came out-- a winter aconite that I was unable to photograph.
Yesterday was PB's 16th birthday. GB, I mean. He's quit the piano and is taking guitar lessons (I'm sad.)(But it's his life.)
I understand the maple syrup days. We had snow again today. It has almost all melted, but today it's will be below freezing so the mush will now turn into ice. I so want spring to come and stay more than 2 hours.
ReplyDeleteGiven time GB may come back to the piano.
Belissimo registro. Linda foto. Um rio congelado. Dá frio.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Mason and R!
ReplyDeleteI do wish GB would come back to the piano, he played so beautifully!
Never having seen ice or snow, this photo is absolutely fascinating to me!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to GB!
My husband did the same thing when he was the same age as GB. Now, he regrets not continuing the piano lessons.
Resembles a giant jig-saw puzzle.
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cold and lonely there!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!!!! THANKS!
ReplyDeleteIt is pretty cold and lonely!
ReplyDeleteI love this photo.
ReplyDeleteThe guitar gets you more girls than the piano ever could.
You got a wonderful perspective here, nice and low. So it gives the ice great dimension in the foreground. Wonderful photo.
ReplyDeleteYes, but he HAS a girlfriend.
