Outside the Conservatory
Outside the beautiful Conservatory on Belle Isle (and in many other places), there is broken car window glass, where a thief has broken the window to steal the contents of a car (or the car itself).
I have always found broken glass so beautiful, but it's too bad when it involves burglary.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kass! :-D
ReplyDeleteI agree!
I agree with you Kass and Mary, the broken glass is beautiful even though it usually comes as the result of a tragedy.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to string it on a necklace somehow, but it would probably cut my neck!!
ReplyDeleteA poignant and very sad commentary on modern life!
ReplyDeleteIt IS a sad commentary!!! But it is everywhere around here--EXCEPT in the "Pointes" and other well-patrolled areas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame, Mary. It's the same here.
ReplyDeleteSilly me - I thought this was an art installation.
