I am sorry dear bloggy friends, that I have been so busy. I am in three art exchanges and working on multiple novels and children's books and taking another poetry class.
This picture is from the African American Museum in Detroit. I loved it there and hope to go visit again soon. I have more to post if I have time some time to post them.
I MISS YOU!!
To show you a tiny piece of what has kept me occupied, here is a new art piece I did in Collaboration with Steve Loya. It is called "Drunken Kisses."

click "Drunken Kisses" to view it larger.
Aussitôt dit, aussitôt fait!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHave your "drunken kisses" been inspired by Picasso?
I like the black lady's statue. Did I tell you I was friend with Ed Hamilton when I was in Louisville, and I translated his website into French?
Travaille bien ("work well" in French, which is equivalent to "bon courage".
Thank you dear sweet Marie. I will come visit you briefly, but I have so much to do--but I ahev not stopped loving you!! Je t'aime! bises! XOX <3
ReplyDeleteThat is nice about translating the web page!!
ReplyDeleteBusy is good...though sometimes it can be too much.
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt in the background...and if you come visit, but don't feel you have too..just click the label Lorelei and watch her last video...you will get a chuckle.
Spring is beginning to feel like it might eventually get here...none too soon for me.
Hope all else is well in your world.
Thanks Rose! :-D
ReplyDeleteWe recently went to a quilting exhibit that was fabulous.
