Skywatch Friday: Blue Heron Lagoon at Belle Isle. You can see some of the buildings of Detroit in the background (Belle isle is a Detroit City Park, if you click on the picture to make it MUCH bigger and look on the right). This was this afternoon, only a little while ago--I took about 30 sky shots but decided to just post this one today. I got some nice fronts coming in. We had our nicest day yet this year and we drove our motorcycles to Belle Isle--it was warm and sunny, about 60 degrees and then clouded up.
What a gorgeous photo, Mary! You did good! And I'm glad you got out on the bike. We were in Cedar Key today and there were many bikes there -- driving over from the Daytona bash.
