The Ice Palace at Dusk


Here's another shot of the Ice Palace on Belle Isle (Or, Ice Tree, as Moxie calls it) taken about 15 minutes earlier than the previous one.

    Did they do that with water???? Or is it snow that froze (more) ? The result is impressive.

    Marie, there are Christmas trees piled up and water spraying over them which freezes when it is cold.

    They do it simply to create something beautiful for people to enjoy--and there are always MANY people visiting it!!!
