The People Mover Structure at night
The "People Mover" is a monorail type thing above the streets in downtown Detroit. I took this picture of the structure the People Movers travel on Saturday night. We were not at home yesterday and I am behind on commenting, for which I apologize.
Stumbled upon your blog randomly! I'm across the river near Windsor and cross the river many times a week. :) My husband's business is based in Detroit. There are so many foreclosures all around his area. So sad to see. Lovely blog by the way!
Makes me think of the "atmosphere" in some films by Scorsese.......

Oh, I didn't know Detroit has a monorail. Does Detroit have a subway too?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if the People Mover is actually a "real" monorail and I don't think we have a subway.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kindness in visiting and commenting!!!!
The people mover looks like what they use at Disney! This is rather an eerie photo, though...
ReplyDeleteHe he Thanks Jacob! That's why I TOOK it! Tee hee! :-D
ReplyDeleteI may try to paint it.
Very "noir"...
ReplyDeleteThanks, V! :-D
ReplyDeleteThis photo and the one above could inspire a detective short story.
ReplyDeleteOddly, I've started novels on just such a disparate collection of photos.
ReplyDeleteAnd you're right, these could work, along with the one above that.
