No Longer a rarity!
Remember when geese were special and we drove a long way to see them migrating? Now they live here year round and make a pest of themselves, but I still enjoy seeing them up close and personal. (Click on image to view larger).
They are a pest everywhere but I do like them also.
ReplyDeleteThey are fun to see in water, on land and in the air. We also have more swans than we used to.
ReplyDeleteWe've got plenty of geese in the local park, but I still look up wistfully when I hear a couple of lone honkers going overhead!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I too do love hearing and seeing individuals or long skeins going overhead. Evokes primitive feelings.
