It's not the best neighborhood and I was a little afriad going through alone during the day. I got hit up for a quarter--luckily, he was satisfied with a quarter and didnt steal my wallet or hurt me.
I got hit up again for money in this spot, later, walking through from the art supply store, by a scary persistent guy.
