Outdoors there is still snow on the ground, but at the Village Market
on the corner of Moran and Mack, there are tulips in abundance.
Brings hope to the heart.

Where do they come from? Holland? I fear they might come from India or China where workers are so much exploited... But they are so pretty!
Most BEAUTIFUL winter flowers!!!! (Winter flowers here).
I love tulips but I cant grow them.
That is a good point, Marie. I don't KNOW where they come from. (But I never bought any.) If I see the store manager, I will ask.
Here they are spring flowers. We don't have winter flowers. (Except indoors). You must have winter coming? Fall then winter?
I planted a bunch of tulips here last fall, so we will see if they come up or if the squirrels--we have a LOT--at them all.
We are in Autumn now .... but it feels like a late Summer :) Tulips only do well if we have what is our 'cold winter' ... which isn't often.
