We Took the Painted Rocks Boat Cruise, fun! It was foggy at first, but we broke out into the sun! YAY! What spectacular views of the colorful cliffs and bluffs! This tour began in Munising, up in the northern edge of the UP. The lighthouse (East Channel Light) was hard to see in the fog, but was of an old shingled and clapboard construction and very interesting. 7/18/08.
(You can see my newest vacation art sketch here. It's a gull with a blue crab claw from Lake Michigan.)
