Painting: full moon tjhrough clinging leaves

There's an eclipse happening outside and I've been taking pictures, but I haevn't downloaded them yet, but while I'm waiting for it to finish, I made this painting. Watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic. Oak leaves, clinking to a winter tree with the moon behind. I hope to post some of the eclipse and moon pictures tomorrow.

I also took pictures earlier of the snow and other things but have not had time to download them, so sorry I've had such a busy day. I may have to give up blogging. Or cut back!

Postcard from WhiteHall, Moon over the WhiteHall Tannery

Taken the night before final demolition, I thought this scene of the ghostly (and now entirely gone) WhiteHall Tannery was a good Halloween Image. It is very grainy because it was taken at an ISO of 1600, which I like in this particular instance. There were kids inside and they told me how to get in. Maybe I will share those images another time. WhiteHall is located about 200 miles north and West of Detroit. I was there twice, delivering and picking Piano Boy up from Blue Lake Music Camp. Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
