Stoney Creek

Sorry, haven't been home. We went to Stoney Creek Metropark
yesterday. We saw frogs inlcuding Hyla cruicfer (Spring Peeper) and
Rana sylvatica (Wood frog) and heard those and chorus frogs. If the
peepers are peeping and the chorus frogs are chorusing, it must be
spring! (Though the old saying goes, peepers have to freeze three
times before spring really comes!)

Good to see the frogs, there have been a lot of bad news for them lately. Loved the pics today and yesterday.

Not visited for a short while and see what joys I've missed. Love these frogs - all your recent wildlife are beautiful. as are those statues you photographed. Super photography.

I used to have a green tree frog who lived on my shower curtain in Cairns. We'd shower together so I had to be sure to turn on the cold tap. No hardship in Cairns where it was so hot!

That rock looks slippery. The frogs turned out great, nice patterns.

I am honored that y'all visited even though I've been away and not able to comment! THANKS!

I've read a lot of bad frog news, but from the din of them at Stoney creek, you wouldn't know there was a problem! I'm sure there is, though!
