Fountain at Belle Isle Conservatory and Classic Car

Here are some shots of some of the animals on the Belle Isle
Conservatory Fountain. I don't like the fact that the first one looks
as if it's in its death throes. :-(

Very upsetting.

:-(

More pleasant, I hope, is the classic car. As you may know by now, I will be riding in the GM 100+ classic cars Woodward Dream Cruise on Saturday August 16th. I was invited by Adam Dennison at GM. I expect it to be really interesting and exciting and will be posting pictures
of the car and events.

It's the world's largest one-day automotive event. Spectators and cruisers travel to Metro Detroit, the birthplace of the American automobile, to demonstrate and participate in an event that celebrates an ongoing love affair with the automobile. This year, the 14th annual Cruise is Saturday, August 16, 2008. It runs between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
