The Grosse Pointe Farms Sewage Treatment Facility

All the municipal buildings around here, even the sewage treatment plants, are attractively designed. This building is a short walk from my house. (But I'm far enough away that I rarely smell it, LOL). I took it hand-held with the little point 'n' shoot.

Looks like a ritzy home in an upscale neighborhood!

Excellent night shot, especially with the P&S, handheld! How do you do that?

Have a great weekend, Mary!

Thanks, Jacob. Our neighborhood is somewhat upscale, and it increases in upscale-ness as it approaches the lake (Lake St. Clair), so the buildings are designed to blend in, somewhat. I did not use a tripod, but I did lean on a tree.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

Strange building, I agree with Jacob, more a house than utility...
I have a small tripod but I'm used to push the camera against everything standing when using the zoom.

I have several small tripods, maybe as many as 5 different types--ak--accumulated over the years as gifts and impulse purchases -- but I never seem to have one with me when I need it.

It looks very pretty would not have imagined it was a sewer treatment plan.
