BB and I are trying to get out a little more--we've been so busy at the Retreat House all summer and now winter is coming. Today we revisited the old abandoned Belle Isle Zoo again. People have discovered it and are vandalizing the place, which is really too bad.

Such a waste... It's a pity somebody can find an use for this place!
It is a waste and ironically, they now have a free "Nature Zoo" in a different location at Belle Isle--which when we last visited it, had been recently burned so it was mostly closed.
It will happen when a place is abandoned. But I'm sure it's an interesting place for a photographer.
What a shame. Everybody looses when this happens.

That would be a great place to have had around as a kid...I would have wanted to play there all the time.
