Detail Diego Rivera Mural, DIA

Here's a detail from the Diego Rivera Mural at the DIA. We are reading Barbara Kingsolver's Lacuna, so we really enjoyed re-examining all the Diego Rivera stuff. If you click here, you can see soem other Diego Rivera/DIA posts from previous visits. One had a picture almost exactly like this one--I didn't realize I'd taken nearly an identical picture--twice! But this one is new from Avedon/WPA visit.

Nice photo. I look forward to a visit to the DIA over the holidays. We went last year to view the Normal Rockwell collection.

As you probably can imagine, I'm more at ease with your post of yesterday. I'm not a fan of Mr. Rivera...

That's only a portion of the mural...do you have a wide-angle lens to get the whole thing in?

Amazing!

The detail is wonderful in this piece.

I do have some pictures of the whole mural--yes, I do have a wide angle lens.

I hope I did not offend you with this, VP! :-(

I'd be interested to hear your views.

We are reading a book, The Lacuna, about him, but I am not an expert on the subject.
