Holiday Decorations at the Mall

I hope you are having a happy, healthy holiday season! We're spending more time at the mall than normal (and more time than we'd prefer!) Here are a few decorations from two local malls, one at the St. John Hospital and one off Vernier. (I don't know the names of either mall--duh--I'm not a mall person, normally.)

This is not my idea of pretty, charming, or artistic decorations, but it's what I'm doomed to view while shopping at the mall. The first elves are sort of cute.

When I was a kid, I always thought the big presents under the tree were real gifts, they were so big I thought they were really special--and I wanted them.

I tend to avoid the malls at all costs. If I can't buy it on line, I don't buy it. Call me a Scrooge but I hat commercialism especially at this time of year.

Thank you all very much for your kind greets and sweet words--enjoy the holidays! I'm very unfond of malls myself, Bill.

Nice pictures, fine decorations. I try to avoid crowds, simply taking pictures at odd hours...

As you can see in the background, in this case (These cases) we did manage to avoid rthe crowds~ YAY!

But today I had to buy FOOD for Christmas and I waited an hour at the meat counter. And the aisles were so crowded I couldn't push my cart through. I couldn't WAIT to get out!

Definitely tacky, but fun.
