The Conservatory Pond at Belle Isle


This pond is full of Koi and surrounded by interesting plants.

I really don't know why VP hates the place...it could have something to do with the fact that it was where people were jailed while waiting execution. This is where Marie Antoinette awaited her beheading...it has a very unsavory history!

Hard to hate a building for things that happened inside it, though?
