Dark Angel, Elmwood Cemetery, Detroit, MI

Dark Angel, Elmwood Cemetery, Detroit, MI, by Mary Stebbins Taitt.

The dark stains are a result of burning coal. Much of the statuary and many of the old buildings in Detroit are stained like this.

Thank you for including me. I would like to apply for official status.

However, because I travel, there will be times I cannot publish every day. I will do my best to make these up before of after.

Very beautiful sculpture. Maybe you have noticed that I was very much attracted to sculptures as I was myself a sculptor in my former life :-))

If you were living in Montpelier, couldn't you post some of your sculptures?
