Heron at Scott Fountain

Heron at Scott Fountain, by Mary Stebbins Taitt. It was NIGHT, and I was using a tripod to photograph the fountain when a heron landed nearby. It's a bit pixelated, but I was happy to see and "capture" it. The colors on the fountain keep changing, but I won't post all the varieties. Click images to view larger.

That color on the fountain is quite dramatic. I don't know why I like herons so much, they look so odd!

Thanks, Fenix. Of course, the fountain is lit at night with colored lights that change through a sequence. I took quite a few pix. I wasn't going to just keep posting them, but maybe later I'll post a couple more because they are fun.

Herons are sort of prehistoric looking!
