This stove reminds me of the big old wood stove my grandmother used at her farm in northern Minnesota...she cooked on it and it helped keep the house warm. But what a job keeping it fed...Great shots, Mary!
I used to heat and cook with woodstoves, back int he day, but they didn't look like this!
I've read about this one on the internet, but I never did make it to see it...It definitely makes for a BIG thing!
I wonder if it would BURN if you filled it with wood--I mean if it would WORK.
My wife remembers seeing this as a child.
It's pretty impressive, no wonder she remembers!
