The Garden

The garden, as usual, is cranking out more veggies than we can eat! We are now getting: yellow squash, green squash (zucchinis), spaghetti squash, acorn squash, butternut squash, okra, ripe tomatoes (forgot to photograph the ripe ones--too interested in eating them!) and roses galore!

In the back, you can see that I've converted dog pens into fenced gardens to help keep the bunnies out of the crucifers.

We have enough okra to have gumbo twice a day every day. Sometimes, we like to have something else, LOL!

We are having better luck with our garden this year. Our problem is we start it too late because we get here in mid-June. The deer ate all the corn and everything else is slow to mature.
