Eastern Market

Marie posted market shots on her Montpellier Cityblog, so here are some from Eastern Market, a huge farmer's market near downtown Detroit. They sell fruits and vegetables, flowers, honey, bread and so on. It's usually bustling, but I was there at the end of the day and it was rainy and windy and people were leaving early.

Thank you very much, Mary. I love these photos. I am like a majority of people, I think: I like what is far better than what is near me :-))

Thanks so much Marie--I thought your pictures were prettier and nicer than mine.

Hello,
I used to live in Detroit -- and I loved Easter Market. Also love your other photos -- Belle Isle was a favorite, too!

Somehow this entire blog has escaped my attention (so many to keep track of). Are there multiple farmer's markets in the Detroit area?

There are multiple farmer's markets int he Detroit area but this is the only one we've been to and we do not go often enough!
