More Sculpture at Wayne State

More Sculpture at Wayne State, by Mary Stebbins Taitt; click image to view larger. You can see me faintly reflected in several portions of the sculpture. The sculpture at Wayne State is diverse and interesting.

Very cool image, perfect framing. Who's the person in the middle? Looks like you may have zipped up the trees a bit but that's fine for the time of the year. And if you didn't - well, we don't have anything close to autumn in St. Louis yet. 85 today.

Sorry that I haven't had a chance to write to you again about Detroit tourism. Will do ASAP.

Very eye catching composition. The fall colours as a backdrop to the steel sculpture is a nice contrast. The fellow in the picture adds to the interest, I notice he is in another recent photo, must be the photographers assistant? or model?
We are getting alot of fall colour here on the west coast already.

I love everything about this photo: form, color, his expression. Very, very nice! :)

Everything is perfect on this photo but what is it with the tree, did you do something with the colors?

Sorry, I accidentally made the tree a little too bright and didn't have time to dull it back down again. I recently (the day before yesterday) took an all-day seminar on Photoshop, so I was fooling around with it just to practice what I learned. I would have preferred NOT to leave it quite so bright but we were leaving to go see Carmina Burana live--the whole thing and Mozart too. So you're stuck with an eye-poking red. I'll probably just leave it now that it is posted. (Carmina Burana was great. Wonderful music in Detroit!)

The man in many of my pictures is my husband who I usually refer to as Biker Buddy, but his real name is Keith.

As far as what I did to the color, I just cranked up the saturation on the reds only.

Thank you all for visiting and for your kind comments.
