This is the lighthouse in Tricentennial Park downtown. You can walk
here from the Rennaisance Center. It's a popular fishing spot.

It looks very clean and well looked after! No seagulls about! Heehe :)
What a great place! The contrast between an old light and the new towers is jarring. Great photo.
It is very well cared for--when we were there, a worker was planting NATIVE GRASS around the base of the lighthouse.
It's in the center of the city, not a very scenic place light the lighthouses in Maine. (Does Vermont have lighthouses on Champlain, I can't remember.)
We do have much more scenic lights, but this is the closest. So we get here more often.
Unfortunately, sadly, I live in the middle of the CITY (which I hate, being a country girl!)
