That's sad. But still they are beautiful anyway. The victory of Samothrace lost her head long ago, and the Venus of Milo lost her arms long ago too. But there were real Vandals at that time!
The cemetery no longer wants people taking pictures, so I had to do it surreptitiously. I guess they don't want publicity for the damage being done by vandals. It is very sad and seems to be getting wo5rse exponentially.
They are still pretty, though.
The neighborhood has gotten bad and the children are bored and not supervised. :-(

Sad, I dont think the cemeterys have the funds now days to make repairs, at least the ones around here.

Even if you don't believe in God, you must respect holy places. That's very disturbing and foolish to desecrate places like that.
Yes I agree, all sacred and holy places should be celebrated and protected.
I'd also like to see artwork protected, too.
