I think it is pretty in its own way, just like detroit grand central.
This is one of those artistic photos. And you did good! The subject matter is a familiar one to anybody who's lived in a large (or small, for that matter) city.We learn to live with the good and the bad.
It is kind of pretty, love the cobblestone alley! :-DBut some people would not like it.

I do like you sometimes. Do you mean some people live there? Has it always been there or is it an effect of the "crisis" as Kris suggests. When I think that wealthy robbers still live in their luxurious houses........
Drove thru that same area last fall. Was stunned by the desolation.
It has it's own beauty and a lot to tell us. I like the picture.
