Near the Waterfront

Occasionally, I like to look at something other than what's beautiful.
Here is another side of Detroit. This is very close to the
Renaissance Center.

Tomorrow I will post something prettier. If I can.

This is one of those artistic photos. And you did good! The subject matter is a familiar one to anybody who's lived in a large (or small, for that matter) city.

We learn to live with the good and the bad.

I do like you sometimes. Do you mean some people live there? Has it always been there or is it an effect of the "crisis" as Kris suggests.

When I think that wealthy robbers still live in their luxurious houses........

Drove thru that same area last fall. Was stunned by the desolation.
