Horse Barn, Michigan State Fair, Detroit



We wandered around the horse barns looking at the Horses and their ribbons, but it was very dark inside and not terribly photogenic. It was most interesting when a horse was taken out to be cared for or prepared for the show.

Thanks, Jacob--I considered making it brighter, but that would not have done justice to the scene.

The horse is beautiful in that light. Too bad the stalls look so much like cages.

Mary, there is just something about this picture that I love. I think it is content and lighting and just the whole thing.
