Detroit Art: Homelessness

I guess homelessness is a real problem everywhere, but it sure is here in Detroit! I did these two water color sketches yesterday and today. Dale is a homeless person who lives in an abandoned factory near Eastern Market--he is explaining his situation to us.

I've been scrolling down through your "vacation" pics...so much fun! So many beautiful places. I like the cars, too...some I remember from when I was a kid.

And these "homeless" sketches are wonderful!

Thanks so much, Jacob!!! :-D You are very kind!

I am not sure I will ever get caught up, but I hope so.
