The Lost Bridges of Nashua Creek
I went out in search of Bridges for Theme Day on Saturday. Unfortunately, it was a mostly grey day, low light, and so cold my hands were freezing. But I did take a 45 minutes walk along Nashua Creek to grab some of the deteriorating bridges there. Walking must have been more popular years ago than it is now, or these bridges would be maintained or replaced. Note that most of our foliage is now finally (sadly) gone. The creek is (mostly) frozen! (As always, click images to view larger.)

Wow!! If these are the bridge photos that don't qualify for your theme day, then Saturday's will be quite stunning!
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
Thanks so much, Craig! LOL! I hope I don't disappoint you! I took a LOT a bridge pictures, so I thought I'd divide them up over several days.
In the top picture you make that bridge look wonderful. Nice job. :)
Boston doesn't have fantastic looking bridges, unfortunately. I think we'll get to see some awesome shots from European bloggers on theme day.
Thanks, Fenix.
Bridges in Europe are definitely interesting! :-D
Beautiful photos,so misterious! Great colors!
Thanks so much Ioanna! :-D
Wow, I'm not used to seeing water that looks like glass! Love feeling the difference to where I am from your photographs!
Thanks, Anonymous--I took some pictures of just the ice and leaves on the ice which I may post later.
Overcast or not, these are lovely pics.
These are lovely photos and I was particularly drawn to the first one. It is so beautifully framed by the tree trunk.
Someone should knit you some wool mittens.
THANKS SO MUCH Annie! Nice comment! :-D
I can't take pictures with mittens on, though!
I can hardly wait to see your bridge day theme!
Enjoyed your bridge photos!
Thanks Wendy and Neva! :-D
I hope you're not disappointed.
