The DIA is about to open again. YAY! That's the Detroit institute of Arts.
I posted this picture 5 times before it actually posted. Yesterday's pictures never posted, I will try to repost them tomorrow.
This is an archival picture because I was frustrated trying to post the others. I'm starting to hate blogging.
It's hard enough to find time to do it, but when you have to do it 5-6 times to get it to work, that's insane. Detroit daily may be disappearing, unless the blogger straightens out.
It's not my computer, because I tried from BOTH computers. And they are very different.

Very frustrating, yes... Are you using the same browser on both computers? What browser do you use?
I have the same problem. Sometimes the pictures upload no problem, sometimes not.
Regardless, nice pic. The Thinker is an icon. Hopefully the redone DIA will have been worth the wait.
I use Firefox. On both computers. One uses windows 2000, the other XP.
I'll have days where everything works fine and days where nothing will work at all.
Thanks, R&R! :-D
Well, this picture just popped on the portal. Love it. Always fun.
My advise (but I am after all very biaised): buy a Mac!!! :) Blogging is a hobby, which means it should be FUN!
Thanks so much Elaine. I am thinking about buying a Mac but I hear such horror stories about how hard the are to use etc and I'm a little bit scared.
Great shot even if it is from the archives. I like how you have a bit of winter in the shot (the snow melting at the base near your feet).
Thanks for visiting my NorthBayPhoto blog.
I like this picture, you guys look like you're having a hoot.
I would HATE to see Detroit Daily disappear. Have you tried putting your photos into Flickr first? It takes time, but so far since I started using it--knock on wood--I have not had any troulbe with posting those photos. BTW, I use an iBook and Safari. At my job here and the one in Mississippi, I used PCs extensively and never had much trouble at all with using a Mac at home, once I got used to it. I'd never even consider having a PC at home, in fact. I used the Mac all of the time when I wrote for the Jackson Free Press, but I didn't blog in Mississippi.
Anyway, I love this photo of the folks imitating art!
Thanks so much North Bay, BerryBird and Lynette! :-D
The folks is us, Biker Buddy and me.
We were having fun. We almost always have fun, especially with Gail. But also with each other.
I don't really remember, but it must have been fairly warm, Craig, if we were in our shirtsleeves. Snow for sure, though!
