La rivière nourricière.... Un fleuve de lait. That's very romantic. I love ducks.
Thanks so much, Marie and everyone!
Marie, I was JUST thinking about you!
I deleted the two previous comments because I decided they were spam.
If it was not intended as spam, I apologize.
Wow. This is beautiful photography. I also love the geese.
Beautiful family with goslings! They look a little like the vagrant Canadian Geese we get down under on occasion but 'browner' bodies?
Ahhh! How can they not tell us what the grape-like berry really was? Choke cherry maybe? The color in the river is really striking.
They are Canada Geese, maybe the ones that show up down there are a little different.
I didn't think to wonder about the grape-like berries, guess I was distracted. Hmmm.
The water actually is milky looking with suspended whiteness.
Totalement d'accord avec Marie ! Milk River, what a beautiful name...
Cute, good shot.
Thanks Viking and Dick! :-D
It is an evocative name! :-D
