Canoes, Cranbrook

Canoes, Cranbrook. The students must have been on an outing, as this is not where the canoes are normally kept. See "Hollow," newly revised art piece by Detroit artist (me) here.

At first I was like KENSINGTON. That is very pretty though

Nice find, they make a great picture.
I bet this picture would look good in black and white too.

So nice! And big! Very well-composed, Mary.

But where are the paddles? (Oh! Heh. Heh. Maybe the students are playing with them...)

Nice composition with the canoes in the foreground. Looks like a lovely spot.

Thanks so much Asta, Goda, James, Jacob and Rambling Round for your kind comments! It does look a little like Kensington--I LOVE Kensington. We haven't been getting out as much as usual, because we have a deadline coming up on the cottage work. Maybe Kensington tomorrow?

I need to go back up there, I can't find any good LAKE shots of from Kensington--I'd swear I had some.
