Three from the Heidelberg Project
Three from the Heidelberg Project. The Heidelberg Project is all about Folk Art. It is always fun to visit and see what they have done new since our last visit. What you cannot see in the second picture is that the tires form a spiral maze into which you can walk for a close view of the art. The third picture is a detail from a larger collage sculpture on the top of an old wrecked car.
I was give this award the day before yesterday by Asta (Thank you, Asta) and today I am awarding it to Old Man Lincoln's Bird Blog, which I love to visit. Hopefully, I will give out some additional awards in the days to come. Abe Lincoln does not do blogger awards, and I am thinking about opting out of them myself some time soon. But that doesn't mean that in the meantime, I can't give him an award. He just won't post it. Which is fine with me, I just wanted to mention that I like his blog.

Congratulations to you, Mary. Congratulations to Abe too. You both deserve it!
Fascinating photos. Well done!
That is a great "set" of tires.
Your shots of the folk art are really terrific. I came over from Jacob at Ocala DP and am SO glad to discover your blog.
Congratulations on receiving the award.
Thanks so much Marie, B and Frank. B, yr a riot, as always.
Folk art is always fun.
I think so! :-D
This is some fascinating folk art, Mary!
By the way, what does the writing on the award mean; do you know?
That last one is terrific!
Thank you Jacob and Ineke--it is certainly interesting and different.
Ineke, I do not know how to reach you.
Thanks so much, Asta!! I do so appreciate you award and kind comments.
Quite a 'rack' of rubber ya got there. These are quite humorous. Love 'em!
Thanks bird man, they gave me a chuckle! :-D
So many interesting things you are showing us. The Heidelberg Project is fabulous. Also, if you like to feature posts, we try to post something "spiritual" on Sundays!
