The grounds of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House were very extensive and these pictures barely scrach the surface of the iceberg.
1)The Ford House viewed from one of the ponds.
2)The woodland swimming pool.
3 & 4)Roses in the rose garden--she kept no red roses; she felt they
were too gaudy.
5)Water lily from one of the ponds.

This is like an immense park! What a place! I can't imagine what it costs to keep it up!
Love your beautiful photos, Mary. You do such a great job, and thus allow us to see the glory of this estate!
Thanks so much, Jacob! I really appreciate it!! :-D
They are beautiful grounds, I like the wedding dresses
What a magnificent home. Sorry, cottage. It would be quite a place to come home to. Great photos of the gardens, but I wonder why they don't allow photos inside?
he wedding dresses were really beautiful!!!
I have no idea why they don't allow photos inside. I think some people with cell phones were sneaking some, but that seemed unethical to me.
We spent a lot of time touring the inside, which was lavish but very tasteful.
Such an enchanting place.
Thanks B and Asta. It was our first time there and we were very impressed. We're going back!
C'est trop beau.......................
Thanks so much Marie!
Merci beaucoup!
