Hi Mary, I posted a comment earlier this week but I don't think it posted. I'll try again.
Just wanted to say great photos and great blog! And thanks for all the ideas on where to take pics! This week I've been to both Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory and the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House grounds. Two places I've never been. Next it's on to Meadow Brook gardens if the rain would stop!
Oh I miss my Michigan and it's cloudy ways.

I've never been to Meadowbrook Gardens. I'm fairly new to Detroit.
Hope you had fun (and good weather) for the fair. In your first picture, the sky reminds me of reflective water, especially the way the sun is back-lighting the clouds. Looks as though your weather has been unsettled.
