The flowering pears are doing their thing--flowering madly. The leaves are already starting to show up, though, so the flowers will be gone soon.
Not all our skies are as fair as the first pear ones, though. The second set of pears are in darker dreams.

There is something glorious about flowering trees. They fill they air with beauty and their scent lifts the spirits. Two very nice shots...
I like your idea for a children's book...tell you what - you put it together and use your artistic skills to draw/paint the various shoes mentioned and areas mentioned and we'll split the profits!
I've actually thought of something similar previously - I have a bunch of children's poems, some of which our daughter has used in her teaching. I've just never gotten around to doing a book.
I love flowering trees and there are new ones opening every few days right now.
